Cohesive bandage is a type of wrap that coheres to itself, but does not adhere to other surfaces, which makes it more comfortable to wear than adhesive tape especially when strapping hairy parts of the body. It is used on humans, but also commonly used as a wrap on the legs of livestock because it will not stick to hair, so it is easily removed. It also provides support, compression and warmth for weak or injured limbs and joints. It is a stretchy, flexible wrap and will allow movement. It is also very easy to tear by hand. These properties make it a very versatile tape with a multitude of potential uses.
